Q: If there is no real ‘alone’ space to practice meditation, would it be ‘disrespectful’ to do this or any of the meditations in the washroom stall for privacy?

A: The point is not respect for the meditation as an object, but respect for the practitioner, meaning a graceful and suitable space is ideal when possible. The meditation works wherever it is practiced; the goal is finding an opportunity to sit quietly with grace. Location is secondary to the meditation itself, though environment and conditions can make your practice easier or harder.
