Q: Why, after almost 120 days of this particular meditation, am I still not objectively seeing an improvement in various areas of my life (anxiety levels, motivation, energy)? Or even seeing a continuous progression in the practice itself? In the last couple of weeks, the meditation has been getting worse: unfocused, agitation and bitterness coming up, etc.) 

A:

• emotional resistance is natural

• expectations can block advancement

• deep patterns take time to unravel

• sometimes guidance is needed to adjust technique

Meditation never harms, but the mind may resist change. The technique should match the person’s actual emotional or situational condition, not the ideal they hope for.
